Halliwick Swim Concept- Wednesdays May 23rd to June 27th inclusive
Halliwick is a one-to-one method to teach water confidence and develop independence in the water. Children with autism spectrum disorder aged between 7-10 yrs can learn to self-support in the water and enjoy group activity with their peers and volunteers. Classes take place in the warmer water at St Gabriels Hydrotherapy Pool. This follows on from the initial 6 week block and as the club grows, the aim is to cater to a wider target group. For this block, children will learn the basics of independent movement in the water within a fun group session.
