Sessions for Adults with Intellectual Disability

Venue: Delta Sports Dome, Delta Retail Park, Ballysimon Rd, Limerick

Day:  Thursdays 11am-12pm

Cost: €2 per participant

Players from Brothers of Charity and HSE Training Centre have been meeting for over a year now and enjoy playing badminton for social and health benefits.

Some of the potential benefits derived from playing the sport of badminton include the following:

• Development of hand-eye coordination
• Development of muscular strength and endurance
• Development of cardiovascular fitness
• Development of footwork
• Development of sportsmanship behaviours
• Development of a social network of friends
• Development of a positive attitude for lifetime fitness through badminton.

Players are welcome to join- please enquire as 3 courts are regularly full!
