Our Vision

Our Mission

To maintain and increase participation in sport and physical activity in Limerick city and to become a one-stop-shop for Sport and Physical Activity in Limerick City, by providing a unified voice for the sector.

Limerick City Sports Partnership is part of a national network of Sports Partnerships, an initiative of the Irish Sports Council. Our aim is to help promote and develop sport in our local communities.

Functions of the Sports Partnership

The Local Sports Partnerships (LSPs) have two distinct functions, along with implementing their local Strategic Plan, these are:

  • To provide information on sport and physical activity
  • To provide quality opportunities for education & training at a local level
  • To implement the strategic plan
